How HeritageGuide Was Built
Idea & Research
The concept was born -- a platform to make India's heritage accessible. We researched heritage sites, user needs, and the technology stack.
Design & Frontend
Built the frontend with HTML, CSS, and Django templates. Designed the UI with a focus on clean, modern aesthetics and mobile responsiveness.
Backend & Database
Integrated Django backend with SQLite, then migrated to Supabase PostgreSQL. Built the booking system, itinerary planner, and AI chatbot.
Launch on Vercel
Deployed HeritageGuide on Vercel with 45+ attractions across 4 cities, full slot booking, AI guidance, and a beautiful redesigned frontend.
